Sadly Sahara passed away on Sat 4th April 2009 aged 18 years. After many years of love and friendship we will miss you so much Sahara. God bless you for all your love and care. All donations $2 and over are tax deductible. This charity has been set up in memory of Sahara, who is my medical companion dog of 17 years. Sahara has been looking after me for all those years which is a long time. Being an older dog, he requires more frequent visits to the vet and medication causing some financial strain. Sahara is not the only one in this position with increasing and ongoing medical expenses. So we started this charity to raise funds and awareness to help other companion friends/animals. Whether it is a cat, bird or a dog, they take care, support and look after their owners. There is no other organisation providing this much needed services. Those eligible for this help and support are the elderley and disabled. We help with funds towards the vet bills. The owners pay an amount and we, along with the vet, pay up to 70% of the bill. Along with S.C.A.F Dogs, we rescue, retrain and house dogs as medical companion assistant dogs. We need all the help, support and momey you are able to give. The more money raised, the more people and their pet friends we are able to help. From Sahara and all his friends, |
